About me
With over two decades in the industry, Amanda has traveled extensively, with a deep love for Africa—having explored Kenya, Botswana, and South Africa—and a commitment to experiential travel. Her adventurous spirit extends beyond work; she enjoys hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and SCUBA diving, and has traveled the world with her husband, Gary, and adult children, Courtney and Tristan.
A Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) through The Travel Institute, Amanda also serves on the ASTA Board of Directors and is the Vice Chair of the ASTA Corporate Advisory Council. Amanda has also served as the Chair of the Virtuoso Advisory Board and served on the Virtuoso Tour and Technology Committees. She believes that firsthand experience is key to exceptional service and believes that collaboration is paramount to success in the travel industry. Her leadership prioritizes strong client and supplier relationships, customer service excellence, and professional development.
Recognized for her contributions to the industry, Amanda received Virtuoso’s prestigious Ruby of Siam Award in 2022. She continues to be a driving force in the travel community, inspiring both colleagues and clients with her dedication to meaningful, immersive travel.
